With the booming new energy industry, critical minerals and the mining sector have garnered significant attention from the international community. Competition in the mineral industry has shifted to the supply chain, with international organizations, government agencies, investment institutions, trading bodies, and non-governmental organizations demanding that multinational corporations extend ESG governance to their supply chains. Enterprises are thus facing multiple pressures and challenges in supply chain due diligence governance.
Against this backdrop of multifaceted risks and pressures, Beijing LianDe Consulting Co., Ltd. organized the first session of the "Mineral Supply Chain Due Diligence Management Training Series" in Xiamen, Fujian Province, in September 2024. The training aimed to help Chinese mineral enterprises understand global supply chain due diligence governance rules and trends, integrate international supply chain due diligence management systems (ISO series and OECD), identify and address key risks and issues in supply chain due diligence governance, cultivate a group of in-house supply chain due diligence management professionals, and enhance supply chain due diligence management capabilities.
